Re: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: (http://fckeditor.net/tags-fckeditor) cannot be resolved
Is this a new installation of Yazd 3.0 or you are trying to upgrade?
There are specific configuration settings that need to be tuned for FCKeditor to work. If you tell me about your enviornment I could guide you through it.

Sorry, FCKeditor.tld was missing from the WAR file. I just recreated the WAR file and uploaded it to sourceforge. You should download the the tarball and try it again.

The connector settings for FCKeditor are in the web.xml and the directory settings for it are in the post.jsp.

FCKeditor is under LGPL license and there is little we could do to ease the configuration.

Cheers

Make sure you undeploy the old WAR file and redeploy the new WAR file.
After you deploy it make sure that the file FCKeditor.tld is in the directory WEB-INF/tld

Is everything else working fine? Can you log in to admin site?

yeap, i removed the old war file, the folder, the FCKeditor.tld is under the tld directory, i can log me into the admin panel, i removed the cache and i still get the fckeditor exception
<br>
I guess it should be working well and there's no much other things to do
...anyway it is not big deal, im running a previous version of yazd and it is working fine...i just wanted to see the new editor and the posibility to attach files ... thx 4 your time Aflatoon...

Can you edit the file /include/post_include.jsp and on top of the file change the line:

<%@ taglib uri="http://fckeditor.net/tags-fckeditor" prefix="FCK" %>

to

<%@ taglib uri="//WEB-INF/tld/FCKeditor.tld" prefix="FCK" %>

Let me know if this fixes your issue

it doesn't, but if i apply that fix to the post.jsp file and delete the header.jsp reference and include the Date library, it works but without the FCKeditor, it only shows me the regular text area and the other fields...if I only change the post_include.jsp I still get the FCKeditor exception...regards.

I don't know why you would have to delete the header.jsp to get it to work. Keep in mind that the FCKeditor is a Javascript editor. The configuration in the app server is for the connectors to upload and browse files otherwise it is all Javascript.

Make sure that the path in the tag
<FCK:editor id="body" basePath="/vodka/FCKeditor/" width="700"

is pointing to the correct URL for your server.

You could try changing it to:

<FCK:editor id="body" basePath="vodka/FCKeditor/" width="700"

Hi Aflatoon
It finally works...i had to change it to "../vodka/FCKeditor"
I deleted the header.jsp reference because send me an error jsp.error.page.multiple.pageencoding, now i include the header.jsp reference but without the
<%@ page language="java" pageEncoding="UTF-8" contentType="text/html; charset=UTF-8"%>

Now, I only get a popup (javascript) error message "Error loading "/yazd3beta/vodka/FCKeditor/fckstyles.xml"
That file is not in the yazd folder, what should i do?

Sorry the XML files were missed from the war file.

I made a fresh WAR file and uploaded it to sourceforge. You should download yazd_war_Beta_3_0_b2.tar.gz from sourceforge.

How did you deploy it under Tomcat?

It worked fine, with only one change in the post.jsp from /vodka/FCKeditor to ../vodka/FCKeditor

>>How did you deploy it under Tomcat?
I only put the war file in the webapps folder and start up the server...

But now i got another problem, if i stop tomcat and remove the war file and run again tomcat, when i go to the vodka folder i get this exception...

That is probably because of the properties file. Why don't you define a datasource through tomcat and avoid using the properties file.
